Lever/Lever
A lever is a rod that pivots around a point. When you apply force to the end of the bar, the fulcrum will tend to rotate in the direction that the force is applied. The distance between the fulcrum of the lever and the point where you apply force determines the maximum amount of movement. This is known as the mechanical advantage. The mechanical advantage increases as the lever is extended. You can calculate the advantage of mechanical by dividing distance from fulcrum point to the point at which you apply force by the distance between the fulcrum's point and the end of the lever.
Levers can produce different effects depending on the way forces are applied. A lever in class 2 for instance, has a tendency of turning in the opposite direction when an effort force is applied. The forces generated when you push on the handle of a front door will result in rotational effects similar to those.

Lever/Pad
Lever pad handles, also referred to as upvc door handles, have levers on each side to operate the multipoint locks. They are available in various finishes and variations and can be used on a variety of materials, including UPVC doors, Aluminium doors & Timber Doors. They are sold in pairs for both the inner and exterior door, with spindles and screws included. They are also available in both handed and unhandled versions for different users.
These can be used to replace an existing upvc door. The levers are lifted to open the multipoint locks and the key is turned to lock or close the door. They provide a bit more security than standard lever door handles since locking can only be done through the inside with a key.
They're not as secure as a cylinder bolt however they are a cost-effective alternative to add security. The only downside is that they don't offer the same level of security like a cylinder bolt and therefore don't stop external access in the event that the door has been left open.

If your partner arrives at home late from work, you can use the snib button to ensure that they can't get in until they're ready to move in. This kind of handle is also popular in doors that are inside, such as bedrooms, where you may require a lock to prevent access from outside.
Snib buttons can cause issues in some cases, especially when you have old locks and doors that are warped. If the snib button is used accidentally or by someone who isn't quite used to it, the door could slam shut and lock you out. You can usually get in by knocking the door frame or letterbox. But, this is not ideal.

They can be retrofitted to double turn pull handle kits and are available with cover plates to hide existing holes, to ensure a seamless installation. The E-LOK app can be used to open doors using RFID cards or a mechanical key. Passcodes are also offered for convenience and security. The system has been tested for 200,000 times to ensure its durability. The handles are constructed of solid metal and comply with BS EN 1670 Grade 5 for resistance to corrosion.
Lever/Moveable Pad
This is a well-known handle style for front doors. It has the advantage of keeping the door from being opened from outside without a key if the lock isn't deadlocked. This is achieved by using the 'pad-shaped' handle that locks into the gap between the handle and lock case.
This handle is designed to work with uPVC multipoint locks that employ a split spindle mechanism. This type of operation requires the lever handle and the external pad handle to be mounted on the same lock case. This could be a straightforward modification to the existing uPVC handles but it may also require a change to the lock case or a brand new set of handle furniture to allow this additional functionality.
These levers/movable pad handles are suitable for uPVC doors and come with an easy to maintain slide bearing, spring cassettes, and fixing lugs included. They feature a euro-style cut out and can be installed to a variety of uPVC and timber doors.
The lever-movable pad is available in many designs to fit a broad selection of multipoint locks. They are designed to work with split spindle multipoint locks with an 92mm cylinder center and require a separate split spindle set, as supplied by the lock maker.

The lever handles are one of the most commonly used kinds of upvc door handles. They come in many styles. It is comprised of two moveable inline handles and can be locked with either a key or a thumbturn cylinder inside. A pad handle is an alternative to a lever/lever handle. It is made up of either a movable or fixed pad that can be used to control the lock. These Fullex handles are sprung lever pads that have a snib that can be activated to stop the latch from closing.
